TFP 2024 – Attending the Symposium

Venue

The conference will take place on the Seton Hall University campus in McNulty Hall Auditorium, Room 101.

Flights

The closest and best airport to arrive at is Newark Liberty Airport. Other NYC airports can also work, although they are substantially farther away from the conference hotel and university campus.

The hotel has a shuttle to and from Newark Liberty Airport. Call the hotel directly for more details.

Hotel

We have organized a discounted conference hotel rate at the DoubleTree by Hilton Newark Penn Station, directly across from Newark Penn Station.

Parking at the hotel is available for $48/day.

Hotel ↔ Conference Site

The no 31 Bus operated by NJTransit runs hourly between Newark Penn Station and South Orange. Get on at the Eastbound Market St. Underbridge and get off at the South Orange Ave 250’ E of Ward St stop, right at the university campus. The trip should be a little under 30 minutes. The bus timetable is available online and accessible through several different apps (e.g. Moovit).

Campus Parking

Visitors (non-SHU) can pick up a guest parking day-pass from the guard at the gate at either entrance to campus. You are permitted to park in the Parking Deck at level 2 or above (you can ask at the gate for further directions).

Wi-Fi

All attendees should be able to access the SHU-Guest wifi network.

Excursion

After lunch on Thursday we will have a private guided tour of the Thomas Edison National Historical Park and Museum.

Banquet

Thursday evening we will have the TFP banquet at Forno’s of Spain.
